Necklace - Shades of Blue Freeform Peyote with Lapis Lazuli donut
This bright blue necklace is made using a style of beading called freeform peyote stitch. I’ve used different sized beads (11/o, 10/o & 6/o) Czech glass seed beads, Lapis Lazuli stone beads, crystals & twisted bugle beads. Seed bead colours are cobalt blue, silver lined blue and three shades of teal/aqua blue. The large donut is Lapis Lazuli. The toggle clasp is also hand made in peyote stitch (tubular) and there are three 'holes' to choose from so you can decide how long you'd like it to be. The Lapis Lazuli donut measures 4 cm (~1 5/8 inch). The necklace length is approximately 47 cm (19 inch).
